SAT. FEB 11TH

Chocolate  Rock takes over of one San Francisco's most historic venues -  The Great American Music Hall
A fine array of musicians that I'm proud to call my friends are gonna set the dial to smash and make this event one of the best San Francisco has seen in a long time!  Come on out, you will not be disappointed!

The roster from bottom to top is

The Broun Fellinis - legendary S.F. acid jazz take you to outer space without a rocket ship trio.
A Band Called Pain - Oakland (and one St.Louis brother!) putting it down metal style.
Keno Mapp and Heart Touch -spoken word and funk mixed infectiously with originality and brilliance.
Ronkat Spearman's Katdelic - Parliament Funkadelic guitarist doing his own thing - sensual, sexual, funky and fly.

Bryan Dean - known to his peers as B.Dean by day and Dark Kent by night, has made a name for himself as a versatile, high energy bassist in the Bay area since the mid 1990s. B.Deans main inspiration is forged from the fire of the Afro-Punk and Black Rock Coalition movements, as evidenced by his main project the last several years - A BAND CALLED PAIN, which was voted Best Metal Band in the Bay Area in 2008. Although B.Dean's stylings lean towards the rock side of things, he finds himself at home in a variety of settings. From blues to bhangra , musical theatre to metal, he’s been part of groups that run the gamut. B.Dean's bands have shared the stage with a  diverse group of internationally known acts such as De La Soul, Patti LaBelle, Living Colour, Smashing Pumpkins, The Bravery and Zigaboo Modeliste.

Years ago, as a bored to tears finance student at Penn State, B.Dean rediscovered his  love for playing music - trading in his high school instrument, the bass clarinet, for the bass guitar. His journey has taken him  coast to coast, from The Knitting Factory to The Whisky A Go Go, CMJ, SXSW and all points in between. He's been fortunate enough to lay it down across the pond a few times as well.

As the new decade dawns, Dark Kent is once again ready for action. This superhero plans to stay busy gigging with an array of folks, but the lightning bolt to look out for is the group BIZARRO, the brain child of former Testament and Forbidden guitarist Glen Alvelais
